Adittya Kishor Chakraborty

Adittya Kishor Chakraborty completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy degree from the State College of Health Sciences, affiliated with the Medicine faculty of the University of Dhaka, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1209, Bangladesh. He also continues his Post-graduation diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine (GCI-Belgium)
studies.
He has been practicing Physiotherapy since graduation from the State College of Health Sciences (SCHS) in 2020.
He has completed his 1-year internship with excellent results at the National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), Mohakhali, Dhaka; Probin Hospital, Agargaon, Dhaka1207; National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka-1207 and Physiotherapy Department of State College of Health Sciences, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1209 in 2022.
He commenced his professional career on 1st December 2022 at Movement Solutions BD. His clinical areas of interest include human physiology, exercise physiology, investigations, diagnosis, biomechanics, and rehabilitation.
Adittya also believes that if people have a good understanding of the nature of their injury, that knowledge can be powerful in both the initial recovery and ongoing management of that condition.
He is also interested in health research and development. As a Co-author, he Contributed to a COVID-19 research project entitled “RT-PCR Mediated Identification of SARS-CoV-2 Patients from Particular Regions of Bangladesh and the Multi-factorial Analysis Considering Their Pre and Post Infection Health Conditions” published in Biotechnology Journal International Dec 11, 2020. As a Research Assistant, he also contributed to the “Impact of hypertension on health-related quality of life in a population-based study in Bangladesh” research project. It was a collaborative research initiative between the University of Chittagong, Chittagong Medical College, Asian University for Women, and 250 bedded Chittagong General Hospital on 12 November 2021.
